At Babes of Wellness, we are passionately redefining what wellness is. Our goal is to make access to wellness resources and education more attainable for everyone, regardless of their background, socioeconomic status, body type or fitness level.

Inspired by our rich Mexican indigenous roots and cultural heritage, our mission is to Make Wellness an Accessible Lifestyle for all™.

Role overview

We're hiring an experienced Group Fitness Instructor / Personal Trainer to anchor our early-morning schedule. Our first classes begin at 5:00 AM, and the members who train with us at that hour build their entire day around being here. Because of that, reliability and punctuality are the most important qualities for this role — the right person is someone who genuinely thrives in the early morning and takes consistency seriously.

If you're an experienced trainer who loves coaching women, shows up early and ready, and wants to grow with a community-first studio, we'd love to meet you.

What you’ll do

  • Lead morning group classes that are safe, motivating, and meet members where they are — all levels, all bodies, beginners to experienced.

  • Open the studio ready: lights, sound, equipment set before the first member arrives.

  • Coach 1:1 sessions and build personalized training plans.

  • Build genuine relationships with members

  • Contribute to the culture — supportive of members and teammates, present, and bought into the mission.

What we’re looking for

  • 2+ years teaching group fitness or 1:1 personal training

  • Current PT or group fitness cert: NASM, ACE, ISSA, AFAA, or equivalent

  • Current CPR/AED cert — or willing to get one before your start date

  • Proven reliability and punctuality

  • Strong, warm communication and a genuine passion for motivating women.

  • Reliable transportation to Compton for early-morning arrival.

Preferred (not required)

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English)

  • Experience with special populations (seniors, injury recovery, pre/postnatal)

  • Nutrition knowledge or certification

  • Comfort creating occasional social/marketing content

  • Trauma-informed training

Compensation & perks

  • Hourly DOE + performance bonuses based on member retention, and 1:1 client growth)

  • Free unlimited studio membership + open access to train on your own time

  • Continuing Education Support (CEUs) to keep your certifications current and your skills sharp.

  • Nike onboarding + seasonal gear packages

  • Real path to growth
